Recovery Balm Sooth+Mend
The Recovery Balm has become a cult favorite in the Laurel Skin line.
What is a balm doing in my skincare routine?
A balm is like a rich cream but way better. This waterless moisturizer is fantastic for normal, dry, mature, and even sensitive and inflamed skin. When the water is removed from a moisturizer so are the preservatives, emulsifiers, and binders. All of the extra yuck ingredients that can be problematic for the skin's microbiome.
This moisturizer works to remove redness and inflammation, seal in moisture, heal compromised skin, balance lymphatic flow, and fade the signs of past breakouts or sun damage.
This is a favorite of Emily's for eczema, dermatitis, rashes, cystic acne, redness, and irritation.
Directions: Apply a very small amount (about 1/4 of a pea size) to the face, neck, and chest after applying Elixir and Serum. It is best to apply when the skin is damp to infuse the skin with water hydration, and seal it with the balm.
If your Balm melts in transit, it could have textural changes that make it less smooth. While this does not affect product performance, a smooth Balm texture is often more desirable. If you would like to restore your Balm’s texture, follow the instructions in this video. Do not leave your Balm in a hot location like your car or near a sunny window.
